Weather Policy: Electrical Storms: Fields should be cleared if lighting is spotted or thunder is heard. Coaches should contact the opposing team's coach, the Regional Commissioner, and the players to inform them of the cancellation. Games/practices with just rain (no thunder and/or lightning) can still take place, but coaches and referees should use their judgement to assess the conditions for safety concerns. For upper division games, the decision to cancel a game should be made as far in advance as possible to avoid unnecessary travel by opposing teams.
